Head of FP&A

The Head of FP&A is a senior hire reporting into the Financial Director with a dotted line to the CFO. This role is key to turning data into information and information into insight.
A big4 background is preferred, with corporate finance experience key for this role as you will be involved in investor relations.
Job Description
* Conducting in-depth analysis of business performance and provide recommendations for improvements.
* Supporting the budgeting, forecasting, and reforecasting processes.
* Monitoring KPIs, ensuring accuracy, reporting on drivers of change and improving overall analysis & metrics.
* Modelling the financial impact of group wide projects & investments.
* Assisting with analysis and commentary for monthly reporting and board packs, including both financial and commercial analysis.
Qualifications:
* Experienced in building models for quick turnaround on what if analysis.
* Fully Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
* Created information packs and presentations for Board members with both commercial and finance insight.
* Delivered process improvement and improved spreadsheet modelling.
* Modelled P&L's, Balance Sheets and an understanding of consolidations.
* Has FP&A experience of running monthly reforecasting based on run rates and in year of a 5-year plan.
* Experienced a corporate finance environment and had experience of working under pressure (Preferred).
* Have some experience of M&A and integrating businesses into the financials and managing change (Preferred).
* Be from a tech industry preferably in professional or managed services (Preferred).
