Job Specification: Investment Regulatory Associate / Senior Associate
Location: Berlin
Our client, one of the fastest growing large law firm in Germany, is seeking a German qualified attorney to join as a Regulatory Associate or Senior Associate. The ideal candidate will have experience in financial services regulatory work, structuring regulated and non-regulated investment clients and working on ESG matters. Furthermore, the role will involved working on a range of matters such as, providing ongoing regulatory advice, and advising clients on the regulatory aspects of investment transactions.
Key Responsibilities:
* Advising clients on the regulatory aspects of investment transactions, including M&A and joint ventures.
* Providing ongoing regulatory support to clients.
* Structuring of regulated and non-regulated investment clients.
* Providing advice on ESG matters.
* Drafting and negotiating transaction documents and agreements.
* Conducting legal research on various regulatory matters.
Requirements:
* Up to 5 years of post-qualified experience in a well reputed law firm having worked on financial services regulatory matters.
* Strong academic background, legal background and additional qualification.
* German qualified attorney (Rechtsanwalt/-in).
* Fluency in German and English, both written and spoken.
* Ability to work independently and take ownership of matters, as well as collaboratively with a team.
