Job Title: Regulatory Accountant

Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 per annum

We are a representing a leading insurance business in London with a focus on delivering innovative solutions to their clients. We are currently seeking a Regulatory Accountant to join their team and support the business in meeting its regulatory reporting requirements.
Job Description:
The Regulatory Accountant will be responsible for preparing, reviewing and submitting accurate and timely regulatory returns to the relevant regulatory bodies. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of regulatory reporting requirements within the insurance industry, as well as experience in financial accounting and reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare, review and submit regulatory returns.
* Ensure that all regulatory returns are submitted accurately and on a timely basis, in line with internal controls and procedures.
* Monitor changes in regulatory requirements and ensure that the business is informed and compliant.
* Assist with the preparation of the annual statutory accounts and liaise with auditors during the audit process.
* Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure that all regulatory reporting requirements are met.
* Provide support to the wider finance team as required.
Qualifications:
* Degree in accounting, finance or a related field.
* Professional qualification such as ACA, ACCA or CIMA.
* Minimum of 3 years' experience in regulatory reporting within the insurance industry.
* Strong knowledge of UK regulatory requirements and guidelines.
* Experience in financial accounting and reporting.
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
* Strong organisational and time management skills.
* Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
